  • Scott King – Co-Owner, CEO
    •As co-founder of the company, Scott brings his 40+ years of construction experience. Starting as a carpenter & framer, he rose thru the ranks to superintendent to project manager, overseeing 150+ home tract developments. He eventually obtained his own CSLB license in 1986. Then after meeting Carlos Iglesias, Advantage Building Solutions was created.
  • Carlos Iglesias – Co-Owner, COO
    •As the other co-founder, Carlos initially oversaw field operations. By 20, he was a crew leader displaying excellent leadership qualities. Even as a college graduate, he enjoyed the challenges and rewards of working onsite and overseeing his crews. He has now become a specialist on cladding installations and now spends his time split between PM responsibilities and the field. This close coordination allows ABS to excel in today’s demanding construction industry.
  • Joel Bueno – CFO
    •Joel has worked with an array of companies from home health care to retail and services. A licensed attorney, his introduction to homes and construction was working on litigation, both private and federal, related to mortgage-backed securities at the heart of the 2008 Financial Crisis. Once joining ABS, he helped during a period of business growth as company revenue increased 3 fold.
  • Israel Lucatero – Superintendent
    •Israel has worked along side Carlos since they were young cousins entering the construction industry. As Carlos has grown in experience, so too has Israel. His ability to coordinate multiple project sites in order to meet production schedules is inspiring. He has now taken on the mentor role, and oversees multiple foreman, providing guidance and direction.
  • Luis Romero – Lead Project Manager
    •Luis first worked as a general laborer on jobsites and was fascinated by the work of Superintendents and PMs. Eventually he entered the Construction Management Program at Sac State. While there, he began working with ABS, and quickly grasped PM work with an extreme attention to detail and responsive and fast work product. He now oversees our Estimating & PM Team.
  • Miguel Garza – Safety Administrator
    •Construction is a high injury risk industry. Miguel keeps our risk low. His work is invaluable in keeping our employees and those we work around safe.
  • Field Staff
    •Our team is further built upon experienced foreman, with some specializing on certain project types and scopes, such as exterior renovations, metal siding, and Hardie products. We also have a core set of 50+ employees that have been with ABS since its inception. That translates to efficiency and consistency in our work.
  • Technology & Communication
    •As a modern construction company, technology & communication, are core team members also. We are familiar with various project software such as ProCore. Our estimates and bids are professionally and accurately submitted using the latest systems. We fully employ and enforce email and documentation to reduce errors and improve communication within our team and with others. Lastly, almost all of our mid-level and upper level staff and management are fully bi-lingual, critical in today’s multi-cultural world.
